When the Gallace's Strawberry Farm was producing an abundance of fruit, they like any other Italian family, started creating strawberry wine for friends and family. This was the birth of Rebello Wines and after a few amazing years Cheeky Rascal was born. Bold strong flavours made with real fruit, Cheeky Rascal isn't afraid to push the boundaries.

Lychee, Strawberry and Pear
Inspired by Vietnamese street food

The cider has a beautiful delicate peach colour and a light floral nose. I find lychee normally dominates but with this you get a light perfume at the start and then the sweeter strawberry takes over. With so many flavours I was surprised by how light the smell actually was, it's a lot more subtle then it could have been. The pear is very faint and overshadowed on the palate by the strawberry and lychee, but they all make a delightful fruity cider. The cider is sweet, sweeter then any cider I have had in recent times but as it is designed to be had with Vietnamese food it would be a good balance against salty and spice. While a great cider on it's own this really is one to have with food.
